The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), incorporated as a Generating Company under the Companies Act,1956 in July, 1985. It uses captive coal from its mining blocks for catering own needs. The primary objective of the Company is to promote the business of electric power generation and evaluation of subsequent supply in the state.

WBPDCL invites applications for the following positions :

General Manager ( Finance & Accounts)
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000.
Age limit: Candidates should be between 45-50 years as on 31.12.2010.
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in any discipline with AICWA/ ACA
Experience: Candidates should have at least 20 years of post qualification experience in the relevant field.
Senior Manager (Pers & Admn)/ Dy. General Manager (Pers & Admin)
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100/ Rs.37400-67000.
Age limit: Candidates should be between 40-45 years for Senior Manager / 45-50 years for Dy. General Manager as on 31.12.2010.
Qualification: Candidates should be Graduate in any discipline with MBA (HR/PM & IR)/ P.G. Diploma/ Relevant Degree or MSW/DSW from any recognised University or reputed institute approved by AICTE/ IIMs / XLRI / IISWBM. Candidates those have Degree in Law will be given preference.
Experience: Candidates should have 15 years post qualification experience for Sr. Manager and  20 years of Dy. General Manager in the relevant field.
Senor Manager (Legal)/Dy. General Manager (Legal)
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100/ Rs.37400-67000.
Age limit: Candidates should be between 40-45 years for Sr. Manager / 45-50 years for Dy. General Manager as on 31.12.2010
Qualification: Candidates should have 5 years integrated degree in Law/ Graduate in LLB from a recognized University or reputed institution approved by AICTE.
Experience: Candidates should have 15 years post qualification experience for Sr. Manager and 20 years for Dy. General Manager in the relevant field.
