Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre ( VSSC ) Thiruvananthapuram was setup on 30th December 1972 by the Government of India under the Department of Space . It is the largest of all ISRO Centres, which has its main establishments at Veli and Thumba. It is the lead Centre for development of satellite launch vehicles and associated technologies. The Centre pursues active research and development in a host of distinct technology domains like aeronautics, avionics, composites, etc with a view to achieve self-reliance in the high tech realm of launch vehicle technology.

VSSC invites applications for the following posts :

1.) DRAUGHTSMAN – B
Total No of posts : 28
Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 2000/-
Age limit : Maximum 35 years
Disciplines and the required qualifications :

• 22 posts are for Mechanical
  Code : 1163
  Qualification : Candidate should have passed SSC / SSLC Exam and should have the certificate of TI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade with the working experience as Draughtsman .
• 6 posts are for Civil
  Code : 1164
  Qualification : Candidate should have passed SSC / SSLC Exam and should have the certificate of TI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade .

2.) TECHNICIAN – B
Total No. of posts : 11
Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 2000/-
Age limit : Maximum 35 years
Disciplines and the required qualifications :

• 2 posts are for Turner
  Code : 1165
  Qualification : Candidate should have passed SSC / SSLC Exam with ITI/NTC/NAC in Turner Trade.
• 2 posts are for Blacksmith
  Code : 1166
  Qualification : Candidate should have passed SSC / SSLC Exam with ITI/NTC/NAC in Blacksmith/Forger and Heat Treater Trade .
• 5 posts are for Electroplater
  Code : 1167
  Qualification : Candidate should have passed SSC / SSLC Exam with ITI/NTC/NAC in Electroplater Trade.
• 2 posts are for Motor Diesel / Mechanic
  Code : 1168
  Qualification : Candidate should have passed SSC / SSLC Exam with ITI/NTC/NAC in Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic Trade .
