Vacancy in The rubber Board 2010


The Rubber Board was constituted on 19th April 1947 under the Rubber (Production and Marketing) Act, 1947. It came into existence for the benefit and development of the rubber industry in India. The Rubber Board Central Office is situated in Kottayam.  The function of this board is to advise the Central Government on all matters relating to the development of the rubber industry, including the import and export of rubber. It undertake, encourage and assist scientific , technological and economical researches for the development of the rubber industries.

The Rubber Board invites applications for the following posts:

2. Asst.Director(Stats.& Planning) 1 40 yrs. PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 +GP Rs.5400/- Masters’ Degree in Statistics/ Agricultural Statistics/ Econometrics with 6 yrs. of exp. in collection, compilation and analysis of statistical data relating to plantation crops.
3. Asst.Accounts Officer 1 35 yrs. PB-2 Rs.9300-34800+GP Rs.4600/- bachelor’s degree with pass in Section Officers Grade Examination/Junior Accounts Officers Grade Examination conducted by Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
4. Assistant Statistician 1 35 yrs. PB-2 Rs.9300-34800+GP Rs.4600/- Masters’ Degree in Statistics/ Agricultural Statistics/ Econometrics+ 5 yrs. of exp. in the application of statistical methods to problems of research dealing with plantation crops preferably rubber.
5. Shift Supervisor 4 30 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 2800/- Diploma in engineering + 2 yrs. of exp. as Supervisor in a processing factory in operation/ maintenance.
6. Scientific Assistant 3 30 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 2800/- Bachelors Degree in Botany/ Chemistry/ Zoology+ 2 yrs. of exp. in laboratory techniques.
7. Farm Assistant 4 27 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 2400/- Pass in SSLC, Diploma in Agriculture/Horticulture/Natural Rubber Production.
8. Surveyor 4 27 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 2400/- Pass in SSLC with Pass in Higher Survey or Diploma/Certificate in Chain Survey/Prismatic Compass Survey/ Total Survey or equivalent.
9. Rubber Tapping Demonstrator 3 27 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 2000/- Pass in SSLC , Proficiency Certificate in tapping issued by Rubber Board with 3 yrs. of exp. in tapping in rubber as evidenced by certificate issued by authorized signatory of Rubber Producers’ Societies.
10. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) 4 27 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 1900/- Pass in SSLC with Heavy duty Driving Licence and 3 yrs. of exp. as Driver in Govt. Department/ Statutory Bodies.
11. Peon/Watcher 9 27 yrs. PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs. 1800/- Pass in SSLC or equivalent.
