Syndicate Bank was formed in 1925 in Udupi. The first  branch of the Bank was opened at Brahmavar in Dakshina Kannada District. It was established with the objective to extend financial assistance to the local weavers who were crippled by a crisis in the handloom industry through mobilising small savings from the community. The Bank is well equipped to meet the challenges of the 21st century in the areas of information technology, knowledge and competition.

Syndicate Bank invites ONLINE applications for the post of Probationary Clerks:

* Probationary Clerks
No. of posts: 1000 ( Vacancies in Different states )
Age limit: 18 –28 years
Pay scale:  Rs. 4410-215/3-5055-335/3-6060-470/4-7940-500/3-9440-560/4-11680-970/1-12650-560/1-13210/-
Emoluments: Rs.8878/- per month + other allowances
Qualifications: Candidate should be 12th pass with at least 60% marks in aggregate. OR should be graduate from a recognised university. Should know English fluently and should have good knowledge of Official/Regional Language of the State/UT to which the candidate applies and proficiency in computers is essential.

Application fees: Candidate has to pay application fees of Rs.200/- at any of the branches of SYNDICATE BANK only, by means of a Payment Challan as per the format given in Bank website.

Note: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and Interview.
