Vacancy in SSB Sashastra Seema Bal April 2010


Sashastra Seema Bal ( SSB ) was formed in 1963. It is a Border Guarding Force (BGF) controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs. It promotes sense of security among the people living in the border area. It also prevents trans border crimes and unauthorized entries into or exit from the territory of India. Directorate General of SSB is located in Delhi.

SSB invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Head Constables and the details are as following:

* Head Constables
No. of posts: 218
Age limit: Minimum is 18 years and maximum is 25 years
Qualifications: Candidate should be 12th pass and should know typing with the speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.
