Shyama Prasad Mukherji College was established in 1969 by Delhi Administration. It was established in the memory of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji, a great patriot, educationist. It is the best because it gives the appropriate guidance to girls to face the challenges of modern age. It always provide an enjoyable environment to it’s students.

SPMC invites applications from Women Candidates for the following posts:

* Assistant Professors in the following subjects:

1. English – 4 posts ( UR – 2, SC-1, PH-1 )
2. Education – 4 posts ( SC-2, ST-1, OBC-1 )
3. Philosophy – 2 posts ( UR-1, OBC-1 )
4. Sanskrit – 1 posts for UR
5. Hindi – 1 for ST
6. Applied Psychology Hons. – 2 ( UR-1, OBC-1 )
7. Sociology – 1 for UR
8. History – 1 for OBC
9. Political Science- 1 for ST
10. Economics – 2 ( UR-1, PH-1 )
11. Commerce – 3 posts  ( 1 each for SC, St, OBC )

Pay scale :  Rs. 15600-39100 (Revised) + AGP of Rs. 6000/-

Qualifications: Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC/CSIR. and should have the degree of M.A.  M.Ed. in the relevant subjects.
