The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies ( RGUKT ) was established in April 2007. Its main aim is to provide high quality educational opportunities for the aimed rural youth of Andhra Pradesh. It uses advance technology in learning sciences and explore the use of modern cognitive science tools in education and learning. “Learning by Example”, “Learning by Doing”, “Problem-Based Learning”, “Self-Paced Learning”, – is the slogan of RGUKT. It make special provisions for integrated courses including Humanities, Social Sciences and other interdisciplinary areas to impart broad-based education including soft skills.

RGUKT invites applications for the various faculty positions and in different department :

1. Professors
   No. of posts: 18 in various departments
   Departments: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Civil Engineering, CSE, Electrical Engineering, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering.
   Pay scale: Rs. 37,400-6,7000/- with AGP of Rs.10,500/- p.m.per month and minimum pay to be fixed is Rs. 48000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D with 65% marks at PG level in the relevant subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch .
   Experience: At least 10 years of experience at the level of Professors in reputed Institutions/Universities.
2. Associate Professors
   No. of posts: 18 in various departments
   Departments: Business  Management, Economics, English, Humanities , Telugu,  Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Civil Engineering, CSE, Electrical Engineering, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering.
   Pay scale: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with AGP of RS.9,500/- per month and Minimum pay to be fixed is at Rs. 42,800/-
   Qualification: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D with 65% marks at PG level in the relevant subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch .
   Experience: At least 6 years of industrial/research/teaching experience in the relevant field.
3. Assistant Professors
   No. of posts: 36
   Departments: Business  Management, Economics, English, Humanities , Telugu,  Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Civil Engineering, CSE, Electrical Engineering, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering.
   Pay scale: Rs:15,600- 39,000 With AGP of Rs.8,000/- per month and Minimum pay to be fixed is at Rs.30,000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D with 65% marks at PG level in the relevant subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch .
   Experience: At least 3 years of industrial/research/teaching experience.
