Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital is a 100 bedded hospital setup on 23rd March 2003 and its foundation stone was laid down by the Chief Minister, Smt. Sheela Dixit. It was inaugurated on 10th February 2007. It has been designated as the Cancer Detection Centre for South District. It has been known as District Hospital.  Its main aim is to provide minimum free basic health care services. The ophthalmology department of the hospital has also been designated as an office of the South District Blindness Control Society. It is one of the 30 sentinel centres for vector borne diseases for epidemics like dengue and chikungunya.

Applications are invited by the Hospital from Indian Nationals for the following posts:

1. Senior Residents
   No. of posts: 25 ( Anaesthesia – 3, Medicine – 6, Orthopaedics – 2, Obst. & Gynae – 5, Pathology – 1, Microbiology – 1, Paediatrics – 2, Radiology – 2, Surgery –3 )
   Pay scale: PB –3 Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- and other allowances extra.
   Age limit: 33 years for Post Graduates and 35 years for Post Doctoral Degree holders.
   Qualifications: Candidate should be MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty recognized by MCI. Candidate should be registered with Delhi Medical Council (only qualifications incorporated in DMC Certificate will be considered) and have not completed three years Senior Residency.

2. Junior Residents
   No. of posts:  25
   Pay scale: PB –3 Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- and other allowances extra.
   Age limit: Maximum 30 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should posses MBBS Degree recognized by MCI and must be registered with Delhi Medical Council and have not completed one year Junior Residency. Fresh candidates will be preferred.
