Malaviya National Institute of Technology ( MNIT ) was formed in 1963. It is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Its first Principal was great educationist and visionary, Prof. V. G. Grade. turned the institute in a renowned institute. This institute is a deemed university under the administrative control of a Board of Governors. The quality of the institute is of top rank as the bedrock of any academic institution is the quality of its faculty. The campus provides all essential amenities for community living like staff clubs, hospital, banks, post office, community centre, school, staff residences, gymnasium, playing fields, guest houses, canteen etc.

Applications are invited by MNIT for the following faculty positions in the department of Architecture, Chemical Engg., Chemistry, Civil Engg., Computer Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics & Comm. Engg., Humanities, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical Engg., Metallurgical & Materials Engg., Physics and Structural Engg,.

1. Professor
   Pay scale: Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with AGP of Rs. 10000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Ph.D Degree at Bachelor/Master Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/ Science (Physics/Chemistry/
   Mathematics)/ Humanities (Economics/English/ Sociology)/Management.
   Experience: At least 10 years of teaching/ research/industrial experience is required and experience of Ph.D supervision is desirable.
2. Associate Professor
   Pay scale:  Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with AGP of Rs. 9000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Ph.D Degree at Bachelor/Master Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/ Science (Physics/Chemistry/
   Mathematics)/ Humanities (Economics/English/ Sociology)/ Management.
   Experience: At least 6 years of teaching/ research/industrial experience excluding the
   time period spent on acquiring Ph.D. degree as a full time researcher and experience of Ph.D supervision is desirable.
3. Assistant Professor
   Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Ph.D Degree at Bachelor/Master Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology/Architecture/Science (Physics/Chemistry
   /Mathematics)/ Humanities (Economics/English/ Sociology)/ Management.
