Madras Fertilizers Limited ( MFL ) was setup on 8th December 1966 by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers. It is located at Manali near Chennai in TamilNadu, South India. It is involved in the manufacture of Ammonia, Urea, Complex Fertilizers and Bio fertilizers and is also engaged in marketing of these fertilizers and trading in Agro Chemicals. It markets its Fertilizers, Bio fertilizers and Agrochemicals , under the brand name VIJAY. This activity is in the States of Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and the Union Territory of Pondicherry. MFL is an ISO-9001-2000 and ISO-14001-2004 certified company.

It invites applications for Technical Assistant Trainees in the following categories:

1. Technical Assistant – Operations ( Trainee )
   No. of posts: 40
   Qualifications: Candidate should posses diploma in Chemical Technology / Chemical Engineering / Petrochemical Technology / Petrochemical Engineering.
2. Technical Assistant – Maint. (Mechanical) Trainee
   No. of posts: 4
   Qualifications: Candidate should have diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
3. Technical Assistant – Maint. ( Electrical ) Trainee
   No. of posts: 3
   Qualifications: Candidate should have diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
4. Technical Assistant – Maint. ( Instrumentation ) Trainee
   No. of posts: 8
   Qualifications: Candidate should have diploma in Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.
Pay scale: Selected candidate will get the Stipend of Rs.5000/- per month in the 1st year and Rs.6000/- per month during the 2nd year of training.
Duration of Training : 2 years including both class room and on-the-job training.
