Kamala Nehru College was set up on 20th July 1964 . It was named after Smt. Kamala Nehru who was a flame that flickered briefly during the raging storm of the freedom movement in India. She influenced her husband Jawaharlal and stood by him in his determination to plunge into the movement started by Mahatma Gandhi, to free her motherland from the clutches of the British’s. Kamala Nehru College believes in a beautiful blend of the traditional and the modern, an amalgam of academics and extra curricular engagements to shape each KNC-ite into a confident, dignified and responsible human being.

Kamala Nehru College invites applications for the following teaching posts:

Pay scale: Rs 15600-39100+AGP Rs 6000/-
Qualifications: Candidate should have good academic record with at least 55% of marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH or those who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19/09/91 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale with later grade O,AB,C,D,E & F at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university and should have qualified the NET conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
