Jamia Hamdard is a deemed university originally established by the Hakeem Abdul Hameed. It is accredited by NAAC in ‘A’ Category. It was based on higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing and other areas of knowledge by its founder as a means of fulfilling the objects of the wakf. It is a no. one institution of higher learning with distinct and focused academic programmes.

Jamia Hamdard invites applications for the following posts:

1. Professors ( Management )
   No. of posts: 2
   Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- + AGP Rs. 10000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Management including  minimum of 10 publications in peer reviewed/ refereed Research Journals and should be specialised in Financial Management/ Strategic Management/ Human Resource and Organizational Behaviour.
   Experience: At least 10 years of teaching and research experience at university / post-graduate institute level, and having guiding experience of candidates for research at doctoral level and working experience in any reputed Industry/ corporate at senior level is desired.
2. Professor ( Health management )
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- + AGP Rs. 10000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Health Management or related field including  minimum of 10 publications in peer reviewed/ refereed Research Journals and should be specialised in Public Health/Epidemiology and candidate with Life Sciences/ Medical background will be preferred  .
   Experience: At least 10 years of teaching and research experience at university / post-graduate institute level, and having guiding experience of candidates for research at doctoral level and working experience in any reputed Industry/ corporate at senior level is desired.
3. Assistant Professors ( Health Management )
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- + AGP Rs. 6000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Management with bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PGDM programs in Pharmaceutical Management with bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from institutes accredited/ recognized institutes by AIU/ AICTE and declared equivalent to MBA and should be specialised in Pharmaceutical Marketing/ Pharmaceutical Management /International marketing/ strategic management  .
   Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in a Pharmaceutical company.
4. Assistant Professor ( Management )
   No. of posts: 2
   Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- + AGP Rs. 6000/-
   Qualifications: Should have masters degree with specialisation in Finance or MBA Finance from institutes accredited/ recognized institutes by AIU/ AICTE and declared equivalent to MBA, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
   Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in a reputed company.
5. Management Associates
   No. of posts: 3
   Pay scale: Rs. 20000/- + HRA
   Qualifications: Candidate should be MBA/ MCA/ MHA or equivalent degree/PG Diploma in Management from AICTE Recognized institution and approved by AIU as equivalent to MBA .
   Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or working experience in any industry.

Last date: 5th May 2010

Application fees: Candidate has to pay  Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-for the post of Professor, and Rs. 300/- for the post of Reader and Rs. 200/- for rest of the positions drawn in favour of Jamia Hamdard payable at New Delhi should be attached with each application.
