The Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT ) Allahabad is a deemed university formed in 1999. The Institute has been conceived with the ambitious objectives of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in Information Technology (IT) and related areas. It makes the country to exploit efficiently emerging opportunities, and meet economic challenges being thrown up by the rapid global IT revolution, which is influencing virtually every area of development and social activity.

IIIT Allahabad invites applications for the various posts and the details are:

1. Registrar
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: Rs.16400-22400/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have PG Degree in any Stream with minimum 55% marks with at least 15 years of Technical and administrative experience at an institution of higher education and Ph.D. Degree in Engineering/Technology/Management is desirable.
2. Deputy Librarian
   No. of posts: 1
   Age limit: Not more than 45 years.
   Pay scale: Rs.12000-18300/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with minimum 55% marks plus at least 8 years of experience as an
   Assistant University Librarian/Librarian of reputed Institute and degree of Ph.D/M.Phil in Library Science/Information Science is desirable.
3. Deputy Registrar ( Amethi-01)
   No. of posts: 3
   Age limit: Not more than 45 years.
   Pay scale: Rs.12000-18300/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have PG Degree in any Stream with minimum 55% marks with at least 8 years of experience in automation, computer software, office/ and financial Management.
4. Assistant Registrar
   No. of post: 5
   Age limit: Maximum 40 years
   Pay scale: Rs. 8000-13500/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have PG Degree in any Stream with minimum 55% marks with at least 8 years of experience in Govt. educational or similar Govt. Institution.
5. Senior Programmer
   No. of post: 2
   Age limit: Maximum 40 years
   Pay scale: Rs. 8000-13500/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have PG Degree in Engineering/Science with at least 55% marks and 6 years of working experience with computer systems/applications software or computer networks.
6. Medical Officers
   No. of post: 2
   Age limit: Maximum 40 years
   Pay scale: Rs. 8000-13500/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate in Medicine/Surgery and Must be registered with UP Medical Council or with any other Council duly constituted by Medical Council in India.
7. Executive Engineer ( Civil )
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: Rs.10000-15200/-
   Qualifications: Should have Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with at least 8 years of experience in the Civil Construction works. The candidates having experience of CPWD procedures, knowledge of Computer Applications and Auto-CAD Software.
8. System Analyst
   No. of posts: 2
   Age limit: 40 years
   Pay scale: Rs.10000-15200/-
   Qualifications: Should have Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science OR BE/B. Tech. in Computer Engineering/computer Science/Computer Technology with 5 years of experience of Electronics Data processing.
9. AE (1) Civil
   No. of posts: 1
   Age limit: 40 years
   pay scale: Rs. 7450-11500/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 55% marks and Knowledge of computer applications & AutoCAD, experience in design & estimation, construction & maintenance of multi storage buildings, roads, drains, structural work  , interior and all kinds of finishing works, including sanitary and plumbing works is desirable.
10. Personal Secretary
    No. of posts: 2
    Age limit: 35 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 6500-10500/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have Master Degree with 7 years experience in Office Management, automation & computer knowledge.
11. Programmer ( Amethi –1 )
    No. of posts: 1
    Age limit: 35 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 6500-10500/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of  BE/B.Tech (Computer Science) / MCA/ M.SC. in Computer Science/Information Technology with 3 years of experience in programming.
12. Accountant
    No. of posts:6
    Age limit: Max. 35 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5500-9000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have Master’s degree in Commerce with 03 years of
    experience as an Assistant Accountant.
13. Data Operator
    No. of posts:2
    Age limit: Max. 35 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5500-9000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.Tech in Computer Science or M.Sc. in
    Computer Science/Information Technology with 3 years experience in Programming/Data
    Processing.
14. Librarian Information Assistant
    No. of posts:1
    Age limit: Max. 35 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5500-9000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate in Library Science/Information Science/ documentation with a minimum of 55% marks with at least 3 years of service experience.
15. Multi functional Assistant
    No. of posts: 5
    Age limit: 30 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5000-8000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have Master Degree with 3 years experience in Office Management, automation & computer knowledge. Proficiency in English typing/short
    hand is preferred.
16. Personal Assistant/Sr.Steno
    No. of posts: 2
    Age limit: 30 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5000-8000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have Bachelor Degree with shorthand speed of 100 w.p.m. in typing with 3 years relevant experience and Computer knowledge is required.
17. Technical Assistant/data Processor
    No. of posts: 10
    Age limit: 30 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5000-8000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of M. Sc. In Computer Science with 3 years of experience in Computer work.
18. Nurse
    No. of posts: 1
    Age limit: 30 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 5000-8000/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have degree of B.Sc. (Nursing)/Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing qualification and Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institution.
19. Care Taker
    No. of posts: 1
    Age limit: below 30 years
    Pay scale: Rs. 3050-4500/-
    Qualifications: Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with 2 years relevant experience in Hotel/Guest House or Intermediate with Diploma in Catering/Hotel Management with 4 years of relevant experience in Hotel/ Guest House.
