The Health Department of Haryana is formed by the Government of India. Its main aim is to improve the quality of life of people of Haryana by providing better Health Services. It tries its best to help people improve their productivity and reduce risks of diseases and injury in a cost-effective way. It offers preventive, curative and rehabilitative services to the community through primary health care delivery system. It also provides immunization services against vaccine preventive diseases of childhood as well as pregnant mothers against tetanus during child birth. It also takes steps for population stability which is very necessary for the development of whole country and many more.

Haryana Health Department invites applications for the post of Medical Officer ( HCMS-II ) and the details are :

MEDICAL OFFICER ( HCMS – II )
No. of posts: 292 ( SC-138, BC-41, ESM-71, PH-42 )
Qualifications: Candidate should be Graduate in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university OR should posses an equivalent degree of any other University or Institutions recognized by the Medical Council of India. Candidate should be registered with Haryana or Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India and should have sufficient knowledge of Hindi and Sanskrit.

Last Date for the receipt of application form: 5th June 2010
Date of interview: 10th June 2010
Application fees: Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- for dependent of ESM candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/B.C./P.H./ESM persons of Haryana drawn in favour of Director General Health Services, Haryana Panchkula Payable at Panchkula must be attached with Application Form.
Note : Interested candidate should send application form complete in all respect with DD and relevant testimonials, certificates (Attested) and two recent passport size photographs to the address of Director General Health Services, Haryana, Sector-6, Panchkula before the last date.
