The Central Reserve Police Force ( CRPF ) was established on 27th July 1939. Its main work is to maintain law & order, and returns to barracks once this objective is achieved. The force is also being used for various police duties in various States. It is Para Military Force in the Country which has two Mahila (Ladies) Battalions. Its headquarter is located at New Delhi.

CRPF invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following ranks in Central Reserve Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and only male candidates can apply :

1. Sub Inspector ( Radio Operator )
   No. of posts: 33
   Pay scale:PB-2 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs.4200/-
   Age limit: 20 – 25 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate from a recognized University with Maths and Physics or Computer Science as Subjects.
2. Sub Inspector ( Crypto )
   No. of posts: 3
   Pay scale: PB-2 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs.4200/-
   Age limit: 20 – 25 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate or equivalent from a recognized University with Maths and Physics as a Subjects .
3. Sub Inspector ( Technical )
   No. of posts: 2
   Pay scale: PB-2 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs.4200/-
   Age limit: 20 – 25 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E/B. Tech or, Equivalent in Electronics/ Telecomm/Computer Science as main subject.
4. Assistant Sub Inspector ( Technical )
   No. of posts: 91
   Pay scale: PB-1 5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2800/-
   Age limit: 18 – 25 years.
   Qualifications: Candidate should be Matric pass with English Maths and Science with three years Diploma in Radio Engineering or Electronics or Computers and  candidates trained in Software/ Hardware of computers will be preferred .

Last date for the receipt of application form : 30th June 2010
Application fees: Application fees of Rs. 50/- in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of COMMANDANT, __________ SIGNAL BN, CRPF, payable at GPO of respective city where Signal Battalion located and application is being sent.
