Cabinet Secretariat was constituted in September 1946. Formerly it was known as The Executive Council’s Secretariat. The Prime Minister controls the Cabinet Secretariat. The administrative head of the Secretariat is the Cabinet Secretary who is also the ex-officio Chairman of the Civil Services Board. All the major activities of all Ministries/Departments are informed by cabinet secretariat to the President, the Vice President and Ministers.

Cabinet Secretariat invites applications for the following positions:
1. Senior Field Officer (Tech) [ a Group ‘A’ Gazetted post]
    Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of  Rs.15600-39100
    Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 35 years.
2. Imagery Analyst [a Group ‘A’ Gazetted post]
    Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of  Rs.15600-39100
    Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 35 years.
3. Deputy Field Officer (Tech) [a Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted post]
    Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.13500-34800.
    Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 30 years.
4. Senior Library & Information Assistant [a Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted post] 
    Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.13500-34800.   
    Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 30 years.
5.  Library & Information Assistant [a Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted post]
     Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5200-20,200.
     Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 30 years.
