BSF Communication Scheme was approved by the Government in 1969. At present it is flag bearer in the communication field among all the CPOs. All Operator & Fitter basic and Up grading courses are being conducted in the STS BSF Bangalore and Basic and up gradation courses for RM and Cipher personnel are being conducted in STS BSF New Delhi.

BSF Communication Wing invites applications for the various post from Indian Nationals:

1. Head Constable ( Fitter )
   No. of posts: 7
   Age limit: 18-23 years
   Pay scale: PB 1 Rs. 5200- 20,200 +GP of Rs. 2400/- Month.
   Qualifications: Candidate should be 10th pass and should have Industrial Training Institute certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic or 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics .
2. Head Constable ( Radio Operator )
   No. of posts: 738
   Age limit: 18-23 years
   Pay scale: PB 1 Rs. 5200- 20,200 +GP of Rs. 2400/- Month.
   Qualifications: Candidate should be 10th pass with two years ITI certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics Or 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized
   Board.
3. Assistant Sub-Inspector ( Radio Mechanic )
   No. of posts: 18-25 years
   Pay scale: PB 1 Rs. 5200- 20,200 +GP of Rs. 2800/- Month.
   Qualifications: Candidate should be 10th pass with Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances.Or 12th pass with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Note: Applications should be send to designated officer as stated in the advertisement along with Application fees in the form of Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs.50/- only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office. And an envelope containing application must be superscripted in bold letters as under “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HC ( RO ) / HC ( FITTER ) / ASI ( RM ) ”

Last date for the submission of application for : 1st May 2010.
