Bureau of Energy Efficiency ( BEE ) was formed on 1st march 2010. It works under the Energy Conservation Act 2001. It develop minimum energy performance standards and labelling designs for equipments and appliances. The main aim of BEE is to “ Institutionalize” energy efficiency services, enable delivery mechanism in the country and it also reduce energy intensity in the country.

BEE invites applications for the posts on contractual basis of one year:

* 2 posts each for Project Engineers and Project Economists
Age limit: 27 years
Pay scale: Rs,25000/-month
Qualifications: Candidate should be Graduate in the relevant subjects with at least 60% marks in degree examinations . Masters degree in engineering/ masters degree in economics/ MBA, an overall perspective of National Energy Programmes and policies with entrust on Energy Efficiency.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in research Development / Designs/ Government Dept.  dealing with energy efficiency and energy auditing.

Last date : 15th April 2010.
