Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited ( APGENCO ) was established as a company under the provisions of Companies Act on 29th December 1998. It is a pivotal organizations of Andhra Pradesh, engaged in the business of Power generation. It has installed capacity of 7587.9 MW and is the 3rd largest Power Utility in India. It has achieved The India Power Award – 2009 for overall utility performance in Thermal Generation. Andhra Pradesh Power Development Company Limited ( APPDCL ) is a joint venture company of APGENCO. It want to be the best power utility in the country and one of the best in the world.

APGENCO invites ONLINE applications for the following posts:

1. Trainee Assistant Engineers
   No. of posts: 398
   Notification: 1/CGM(ADM)/2010
   Disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Civil
   Pay scale: Rs. 23115-955-25025–1115–30600–1280–35720
   Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 38 years of age.
   Qualification for Electricals: Candidate should have B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification from any recognized University.
   Qualification for Mechanical: Candidate should have B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Mechanical
   Engineering or equivalent qualification.
   Qualifications for Electronics: Candidate should posses B.E/B.Tech./A.M.I.E., in Electronics
   & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Controls Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics & Control Engineering/Instrumentation
   Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation & power/ Power electronics or equivalent qualification.
   Qualifications for Civil: Candidate should have the degree of B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E., Civil
   Engineering or equivalent.
2. Trainee Chemists
   no. of posts: 35
   Notification: 2/CGM(ADM)/2010
   Pay scale: Rs. 23115-955-25025–1115–30600–1280–35720
   Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 38 years of age.
   Qualification: Candidate should have the degree of M.Sc. 1st class with Chemistry or Environmental Sciences, preceded by B.Sc. with chemistry as one of the subjects and Candidates with the experience in a Power station or a Chemical plant will be preferred.
3. Trainee Junior Accounts Officer
   No. of posts: 42
   Notification: 3/JS(Per)/2010
   Pay scale: Rs 19450-800-20250-955-25025-1115-30600-1280-31880
   Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 38 years of age.
   Qualification: Candidate should have PG Degree of M.Com of any university in India established or incorporated by or under a central act, Provincial Act, or State Act or any equivalent qualification.
