The main functions of Ahmadabad Municipal Corporation  AMC are Water Supply, Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage, Construction & maintenance of roads, Street lighting, Primary education, Medical services, Conservancy, Fire services, Public transport & Parks and gardens .

AMC invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts:

1. 1 post for General Manager
   Contractual Amount/month: Rs. 50,000/- – Or – negotiable
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Masters degree in Transportation Engineering / Planning / Urban Transport Planning + Management
   Experiences: At least 7 years of experience in Transportation or related organisation.
2. 2 posts are for Field Officers
   Contractual Amount/month: Rs. 12000/- – Or – negotiable
   Qualifications: Candidate should have diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.and he should be able to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.
   Experience: At least 2 years of related related experience with Operation & Maintenance of buses / other automobiles preferably in Transport company  and experience in usage of computers and internet will be preferred.
3. 1 post is for Manager ( Operations )
   Contractual Amount/month: Rs. 25000/- – Or – negotiable
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Masters Degree in Transportation Engineering and / or Planning and candidate should be conversant with Transportation Engineering and / or Planning and related matters of Government Agency / Development Authority / Public Sector or reputed private organisation.
   Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Transportation Engineering and / or Planning.
4. 1 post is for manager ( Depot )
   Contractual Amount/month: Rs. 25000/- – Or – negotiable
   Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
   Experience: At least 4 years of directly related experience with Operation & Maintenance of buses / other automobiles.
5. 2 posts are for Assistant Manager ( Trainees )
   Contractual Amount/month: Rs. 18000/- – Or – negotiable
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Masters degree in Management / Urban Transport / Urban Planning and he should be able to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.
   Experience: Experience in usage of computers and internet will be preferred. If not computer literate, the incumbent shall upgrade the skills within three months of joining.

Note : Each and every candidate has to be functional in English and local language.
