Union Public service Commission ( UPSC ) is a constitutional body whose duty is to conduct examinations for the appointments to the various civil services of India. Members of UPSC are appointed by the President of India. Every member holds office for a term of six years or until he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier. The UPSC annually submits a report of its work to the President of India.

UPSC invites applications for the following positions :

MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE

1. Assistant Professors ( Physiology )
   No. of posts : 9
   age limit : Maximum 45 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/- plus NPA
   Qualification : Candidate should PG degree qualification in the Speciality i.e. M.D (Physiology) / M.Sc. (Physiology) / Ph.D (Physiology) / D.Sc (Physiology).
   Experience : Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the concerned speciality in a recognized medical College as Lecturer / Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
2. Assistant professors ( Bio Chemistry )
   no. of posts : 11
   age limit : Maximum 45 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/- plus NPA
   Qualification : Candidate should have the PG degree qualification in the Speciality i.e, M.D (Bio-chemistry) / M.Sc (Medical Bio-chemistry) / Ph.D(Bio-chemistry) / D.Sc (Bio-chemistry).
   Experience : Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the concerned speciality in a recognized medical College as Lecturer / Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar after obtaining the first PG Degree.
3. Specialists Grade – II ( Microbiology )
   no. of posts : 10
   age limit : Maximum 45 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/- plus NPA
   Qualification : Candidate should have PG Degree in the concerned Specialty i.e., M.D. (Bacteriology) / M.D.(Microbiology) / MD(Bacteriology with Pathology) / M.Sc (Microbiology) / M.Sc (Bacteriology) / D(Bacteriology) / D.P.B
   Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the concerned speciality in a recognized medical College as Lecturer / Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar after obtaining the first PG Degree.

CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION

1. Sr. Lecturers (Radio-diagnosis) in the Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education and Research
   No. of posts : 2
   pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 8600/- plus NPA
   Age limit : Maximum 55 years
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of M.D. (Radio diagnosis) / MD (Radiology) / M.S. (Radiology) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent.
   Experience : minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the concerned speciality after acquiring post graduate qualification as Lecturer / Registrar / Senior Resident / Demonstrator / Tutor.

AGRICULTURE MINISTRY

1. Law Officer in Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, Faridabad, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation
   No. of posts : 1
   age limit : Maximum 40 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/- plus NPA
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree in Law from a recognized University.
   Experience : Minimum 7 years of experience as an officer of the State Judicial Service.

CIVIL AVIATION MINISTRY

1. Assistant Directors of Operations in the Director General of Civil Aviation
   No. of posts : 28
   age limit : Maximum 40 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/- plus NPA
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Engineering in Aeronautical / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Sciences from a recognised University.
   Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Air Traffic Control or Licensing of Aerodrome / Air Crew / Air Transport.

DEFENCE MINISTRY

1. Programmers in Joint Cipher Bureau (JCB), Department of Defence (R&D)
   No. of posts : 5
   Age limit : Maximum 30 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses M.Sc. Degree in Mathematics / Mathematical Statistics / Operations Research from a recognized University or equivalent.
   Experience : At least 3 years of experience in Electronic Data Processing work including experience of actual programming.

HOME MINISTRY

1. Extra Assistant Directors in the Directorate of Coordination (Police Wireless)
   No. of posts : 6
   Age limit : Maximum 30 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or in Electrical Engineering with Telecommunications Engineering as a special subject OR Master’s degree in Physics with  Wireless or Electronics as a special subject.
   Experience : Experience in installation, maintenance, overhauling and testing of Radio and allied equipment OR Experience in indenting purchases billing and maintenance and technical specifications of Radio and allied equipments, their prices and suitability for varying requirements.

LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT MINISTRY

1. Rehabilitation Officers in the Vocational Rehabilitation Centres for Handicapped under the Directorate General of Employment & Training
   No. of posts : 5
   Age limit : Maximum 30 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses PG degree in Social Work / Sociology / Education / Psychology. OR PG diploma in guidance Psychology or diploma in Medical and Social Psychology
   Experience : Minimum  3 years of experience in the application of psychological technique or counselling, guidance rehabilitation / training / teaching of handicapped persons.

MICRO SMALL & MEDIUN ENTERPRISE

1. Assistant Directors, Grade-II (Economic Investigation)
   No. of posts : 27
   Age limit : Maximum 30 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Master’s degree in Economics with Basic knowledge of computer applications, currently used software / packages for officers Experience : At least 2 years of experience in conducting and guiding investigation / Surveys / Research relating to small scale industries.

SHIPPING MINISTRY

1. Assistant Executive Engineers (Electronics) in the Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships
   No. of posts : 6
   age limit : Maximum 35 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/- plus NPA
   Qualification : Candidate should have degree in Telecommunications / Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering.
   Experience : 2 years of experience in supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation and generation, supply and transmission of power with experience in lighting small motors and wiring.
2. Assistant Executive Engineers (Civil) in the Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships
   No. of posts : 4
   age limit : Maximum 35 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have degree in Civil Engineering.
   Experience: 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in design, maintenance and construction of structural and reinforced concrete works and experience in general administration, maintenance and operation of lighthouses and other aids to marine navigation.

GOVERNMENT OF NCT OF DELHI

1. Professor (Applied Mathematics) in Ambedkar Institute of Technology under Department of Training & Technical Education
   No. of posts : 1
   age limit : maximum 55 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 16400 – 22400/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have scored 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at M.Sc in Applied Mathematics / Mathematics and Ph.D in Discrete Mathematics / Cryptography / Probability / Coding theory / Information theory / Game theory etc.
   Experience : At least 10 years of experience of which at least five years should be at senior level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor in post-graduate teaching and/or experience in research at the University / National Level Institutions including experience of guiding research at Doctorate level.
2. Professor (Applied Physics) in Ambedkar Institute of Technology under Department of Training & Technical Education
   No. of posts : 1
   age limit : maximum 50 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 16400 – 22400/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have scored at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at M.Sc in Applied Physics / Physics with specialisation in Electronics / Solid State Physics / Radio Physics and Electronics / Electronic Science and Ph.D in Electronics / Micro Electronic Devices / Microwave Devices / Solid State Physics / Microwave Circuits / Antennas.
   Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience is required.
3. Assistant Public Prosecutors in Department of Home
   No. of posts : 44
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 /- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
   Age limit : Maximum 30 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Law of a recognised University or equivalent.
   Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience at the Bar.
