Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL) was established on 12th February 2001 . It was formerly known as Uttaranchal Power Corporation Ltd. It is the Front line State Power Distribution Utility & service provider of quality and reliable power supply. Its main aim is to achieve 100% Rural Electrification Infrastructure for Electrification of Villages & Hamlets by March 2009 and Rural Households by March 2012. It strengthen the existing power network based on present advanced technology with an objective to reduce T&D losses.

  1. Deputy General Manager ( HRD )
    No. of posts : 1
    Age limit : Maximum 50 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 8900/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses PG Degree in Personnel Management with specialization in HRM .  
    Experience : At least 15 years of post qualification experience.
  2. Deputy General manager ( Industrial Relations & Employee Management )
    No. of posts : 1
    Age limit : Maximum 50 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 8900/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses PG Degree in Personnel Management / IR / Business Management with specialization in HRM .  
    Experience : At least 15 years of post qualification experience.
  3. Deputy General Manager ( Company Secretary / Legal )
    No. of posts : 1
    Age limit : Maximum 50 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 8900/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have professional degree of Company Secretary ship plus degree of Law.
    Experience : At least  15 years of post qualification experience.
  4. Senior Industrial Engineer
    No. of posts : 1
    Age limit : Maximum 45 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have PG Degree in Industrial Engineering.
    Experience : At least 7 years of post qualification experience in formulating and implementing different schemes in various areas.
  5. Senior Law Officer ( Legal & Regulatory )
    No. of posts : 1
    Age limit : Maximum 45 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be Law Graduate.
    Experience : Minimum 7 years of post qualification experience in Legal department and candidate with the experience in power sector company will be preferred.
  6. Law Officer
    No. of posts : 2
    Age limit : Maximum 40 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be Law Graduate.
    Experience : Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in Legal Matters pertaining to electricity Distribution Company /Consumer Services.
  7. Personnel Officer
    No. of posts : 5
    Age limit : Maximum 40 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses PG Degree in Personnel Management / IR / Business Management with specialization in Personnel Management.
    Experience : At least 5 years of post qualification experience in various functions in Human Resource Management .
  8. Personnel Officer ( PR )
    No. of posts : 1
    Age limit : Maximum 40 years
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be Graduate in Journalism / Mass Communication .
    Experience : Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in Planning / Designing / Implementation of all media related works .
