United Bank of India ( UBI ) was nationalised on 19th July 1969. At many district , it is the leading bank . UBI plays an important role in spreading banking service all over the country. Today UBI has a three-tier organisational set-up consisting of the Head Office, 28 Regional Offices and 1510 branches. And it has three full fledged Overseas Branches also. It’s head office is situated in Kolkata.

Applications are invited by UBI for the various posts at Officer level and the details are :

1. Law Officers
   Grade : MMGS – II
   No. of posts: 10
   Pay scale: Rs. 13820 – 19920/-
   Age limit: 21 – 38 years.
   Qualification: Candidate should be Graduate and should posses Degree of law with at least 3 years of integrated course.
   Experience: Candidate should be enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council of India and should have at least 4 years of experience of Practicing Advocate and dealing with any  banking institutions.
2. Personnel / HR Officers
   Grade: MMGS – II
   No. of posts: 3
   Pay scale: Rs. 13820 – 19920/-
   Age limit: 21 – 38 years.
   Qualification: Candidate should be an MBA / posses PG Degree in HR .
   Experience: Candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an officer in any banking institution.

Application fees: Candidate has to pay DD of Rs. 400/- issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank payable at KOLKATA in favour of “UNITED BANK OF INDIA SPECIALIST OFFICER RECRUITMENT PROJECT – 2010”.

Last date for the submission of application form: 20th March 2010.
