United Bank of India ( UBI ) was established in 1950 and was nationalised on 19th July 1969. Its head office is located at Kolkata. It has 28 Regional Offices and 1510 branches. It spread banking services in different parts of the country specially in Eastern and North-Eastern India. After nationalisation, the Bank expanded its branch network in a big way and actively participated in the developmental activities, particularly in the rural and semi-urban areas in conformity with the objectives of nationalisation. In recognition of the role played by the Bank, it was designated as Lead Bank in several districts and at present it is the Lead Bank in 30 districts in the States of West Bengal, Assam, Manipur and Tripura. The Bank is also the Convener of the State Level Bankers’ Committees (SLBC) for the States of West Bengal and Tripura.

UBI invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Clerks and the details are as following :

Clerks
No. of vacancies : 700 posts in various states of India.
Pay scale : Rs. 7200 – 19300/-
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years
qualification : Candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in 12th Standard or Graduate from any Stream with 3 months of course from State / Central Government or AICTE recognised institution.
