United Bank of India(UBI) was established on December 1950 and was nationalised on July 1969. It’s head office is situated in Kolkata. It is the leading bank in 30 districts in the States of West Bengal, Assam, Manipur and Tripura. The Bank is also the Convener of the State Level Bankers’ Committees (SLBC) for the States of West Bengal and Tripura.

UBI invites application for the post of Security Officers and the details are as follows:

* Security Officers
No. of posts: 18
Grade : MMGCS- II
Remuneration: Rs. 13820-19920 and DA, HRA, CCA etc. will be paid as per Bank’s rules in force also Medical, LTC, Pension, P.F., Gratuity etc. will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.
Age Group: 21 years – 38 years as on 1st January 2010
Qualification: Candidate has to be a Graduate from recognized university.
Experiences: 5 years as commissioned officer (in Army, Navy or Air Force) / Class – I officer in the paramilitary forces .or at the time of release / retirement candidate should be in the rank of Capt./ Major (equivalent in Indian Navy / Air Force) or in the rank of Asstt. Commandant or equivalent in paramilitary Forces.

Last date for the receipt of application with Demand Draft: 20th February 2010.
