Tripura Public Service Commission ( TPSC ) was established on 30th October 1972. It is situated at the old Assembly House of Tripura, at Akhaura Road,  Agartala. It’s main function is to conduct examinations for appointments and make recruitment to different services of the state. That’s why PSC is very important for the smooth functioning of the state.

TPSC Invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts:

1. Director : Group-A Gazetted-Grade-I(A)
   Department: Animal Resource Development Department
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: Rs 24,625-40,600/- + GP of Rs. 65oo/- + Admissible Allowances.
   Age limit: Not more than 50 years.
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Veterinary science. And PG Diploma/ Ph.d qualification is desired.
   Experience: At least 25 years of service under State Government / Central Government.
2. Deputy Director: Group- A Gazetted
   Department: Directorate of Prosecution under the Home Department
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: PB-4 Rs.13575-37000/- + GP of Rs. 5000/- + admissible allowances
   Age limit: 35 – 45 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Law and should have worked as a practicing advocate for at least 10 years.
3. Director: Group- A Gazetted
   Department: Directorate of Prosecution under the Home Department
   No. of posts: 1
   Pay scale: Rs 24,625-40,600/- + GP of Rs. 65oo/- + Admissible Allowances.
   Age limit:40 – 50 years.
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Law and should have worked as a practicing advocate for at least 15 years.
4. Child Development Project Officer: Group-B Gazetted
   Department: Education (Social Welfare & Social Education) Department
   No. of posts: 3
   Age limit: 18 – 37 years.
   Pay scale: PB – 3 Rs.9570-30,000/- + GP of Rs. 3500/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should posses Bachelor’s degree and must have the knowledge of Bengali or Kak-Borak.
