Tripura Public service Commission ( TPSC ) was formed on 21st January 1972. It has a very important role which it has to play very efficiently and impartially. The main function of TPSC is to conduct examinations for appointment to various services of the State and make direct recruitment to the Subordinate and Ministerial Services. It also advices Government on all disciplinary matters affecting a person serving under the Government in a Civil capacity, including memorials or petitions relating to such matters.

TPSC invites applications from the bonafide citizens of India for the following positions and the details are as follows :

1. Veterinary Assistant Surgeon ( TVS , Grade V )
   No. of posts : 40
   Department : Animal Resources Development Department
   Pay scale : PB – 3 Rs. 9570 – 30000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 3500/- + other allowances
   Age limit : Maximum 37 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University.
2. Speech Educator
   No. of posts : 6
   Department : Institute for Speech Rehabilitation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children under Education (Social Welfare and Social Education) Department.
   Pay scale : PB – 3 Rs. 9570 – 30000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2600/- + other allowances
   Age limit : Maximum 37 years
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate and should have taken Training in Education of the deaf from the I.S.I.,Calcutta or from any other recognized training institution with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.

Last date for the receipt of application : 31st August 2010
