Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was setup in 1980 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Its main aim is to produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using biogases, a sugarcane residue, as primary raw material. The key areas of operation have been innovatively designed and developed by a competent technical team of the company. It provides high-quality surface sized and non-surface sized paper to suit the needs of modern high speed printing machines. By using bagasse as primary raw material, TNPL preserves over 40000 acres of forest land from depletion every year.

Applications are invited by TNPL for the following posts:

1. Deputy Manager ( Electrical & Instrumentation )
   Age limit: At least 35 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control
   Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation.
   Experience: At least 12 years of experience in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.
2. Deputy Manager ( Chemical )
   Age limit: At least 35 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
   Experience: At least 12 years of experience in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.
3. Assistant manager ( Mechanical )
   Age limit: At least 32 years
   qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
   Experience: At least 10 years of experience in maintenance of any process industry out of which at least 5 years in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.
4. Assistant manager ( Civil )
   Age limit: At least 32 years
   qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
   Experience: At least 10 years of experience in maintenance of any process industry out of which at least 5 years in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.
5. Plant Engineer ( Mechanical )
   Age limit: At least 28 years
   qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
   Experience: At least 7 years of experience in the maintenance of a process industry out of which at least 5 years in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.
6. Plant Engineer ( Electrical )
   Age limit: At least 28 years
   qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical &
   Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics Engineering.
   Experience: At least 7 years of experience in the maintenance of a process industry out of which at least 5 years in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.
7. Plant Engineer ( Instrumentation )
   Age limit: At least 28 years
   qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation Technology / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
   Experience: At least 7 years of experience in the maintenance of a process industry out of which at least 5 years in a dry process Cement Plant of 1000 TPD.

Pay scale:
For Deputy Managers: Rs.18000-500-23000/-  ( Rs.58,277/- as monthly CTC )
For Assistant managers: Rs.15000-425-19250/- ( Rs.49,088/- as monthly CTC )
For Plant Engineers: Rs.12500-350-16000/- ( Rs.41,676/- as monthly CTC )
