The University was established under the Thiruvalluvar University Act, 2002 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. on 16th October 2002. The University is located in Vellore Fort. The main objective of the University to creating stimulating environment and providing Higher Quality Education through teaching and research.

The University invites applications for the following positions :

Deputy Registrar
Posts: 1
Age: Age: Candidates should be less than 45 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Master Degree with minimum 55% marks/B grade of the UGC seven point scale.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or its equivalent in the institution of higher learning.
Assistant Registrar
Posts: 2
Age: Candidates should be less than 45 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Master Degree with minimum 55% marks/B grade of the UGC seven point scale.
Experience: Candidates should have 3 years academic/ 5 years as administrative experience in the Superintendent cadre or its equivalent.
Personal Assistant to Vice-Chancellor
Posts: 1
Age: Candidates should be less than 45 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Master Degree with minimum 55% marks/B grade of the UGC seven point scale. Candidates should have PG Diploma in Computer Application. Candidate who knows Shorthand-Tamil and English will be preferable.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of Administrative Experience.
Superintendent
Posts:4
Age: Candidates should be less than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.9300-34800.
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in any stream and should have pass Account Test for sub-ordinate officer. Candidates should have a higher grade in Typewriting of English and Tamil. Candidate should have a Diploma in Computer Application.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of Administrative Experience.
Assistant Cum Computer Operator
Posts: 8
Age: Candidates should be less than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5200-20200.
Qualification: Candidates should have a degree in any Stream with Diploma in Computer Application form recognized Institution.
Experience: Candidates should have a experience in computer based technologies.
Personal Clerk to Vice-Chancellor
Posts: 1
Age limit: Candidates should be less than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5200-20200.
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in any stream Candidates should have a higher grade in Typewriting of English and Tamil. Candidate should have a Diploma in Computer Application.
Lab Technician
Posts: 4
Age limit: Candidates should be less than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5200-20200
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in the relevant field.
Experience: Candidates should have a experience in the laboratory in any Educational Institution.Candidates should have a knowledge of computer.
System Administrator
Posts: 1
Age limit: Candidates should be less than 35 years
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.9300-34800.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree of B.E.(Computer Science and Electronics)/M.C.A/M.Sc Computer Science with minimum 60% marks.
Experience: Candidates should have a work experience as a programmer for not less than 2 year and Candidates should have knowledge of Visual Basic, Oracle & Web Tech. with 2 yrs. Experience.
