The Tropical Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur ( TFRI ) was established in April 1988. It is a major nucleus for research on forestry and ecology related problems of tropical forests of the central region comprising of the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Orissa and is one of the eight regional institutes under the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education. It provide research support to the problems of forest management in India. It has advance infrastructure.

TFRI Jabalpur invites applications for the various posts and the details are as following :

1. Research Assistant Grade-I (General), (Group "C" Non-Gazetted)
   No. of vacancy : 4 posts
   Pay scale : Pay Band-1: Rs.5200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs.2800/- p.m. admissible allowances under the rule of ICFRE.
   Age limit : Minimum 18 and maximum 25 years
   Qualifications : Candidate should have masters degree in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Forestry, Environmental Science and Pathology from recognized University and candidates with the experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
2. Office Attendant (Group "C" Non-Gazetted)
   No. of vacancy : 1 post
   Pay scale : Pay Band -1: Rs.5200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- p.m. and admissible allowances under the rules of ICFRE.
   Age limit : Minimum 18 and maximum 25 years
   Qualifications : Candidate should have passed 10th standard from any recognized Board and at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field is required.

Place of work : Tropical Forest Research Institute, P.O.:RFRC, Mandla Road, Jabalpur- 482 021(M.P.).The post carries liability to serve anywhere in India.
