Government Jobs

Supreme Court of India was formed on 28th January 1950. The Chief Justice and maximum 25 other Judges are accompanied in Supreme Court of India and all these are appointed by the President of India. The proceedings of the Supreme Court are conducted in English only. No other languages are used.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the various posts in Supreme Court of India and the details are as following :

1. Chief Librarian
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Law of a recognized University in India recognized by the Bar Council of India or any State Bar Council for enrolment as an Advocate and should have Master’s Degree in Library Science with the Diploma in Computer Application recognized by AICTE/DOEACC or equivalent or Library Automation Course conducted by National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources.
   Experience : At least 5 years of experience as a Librarian in a library of a university / Government Department with teh knowledge of legal documentation and Bibliographical works.
2. Assistant Librarian
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with the Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 27 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Library Science with Diploma in Computer Application recognized by AICTE/DOEACC or equivalent or Library Automation Course conducted by National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources.
   Experience : At least 2 years of experience in a government recognised library.

Last date for the receipt of application : 20th September 2010
