Government Jobs

Supreme Court of India was established on 28th January 1950. The Supreme Court of India comprises the Chief Justice and not more than 25 other Judges appointed by the President of India. Judges of Supreme court retire upon attaining the age of 65 years. The proceedings of the Supreme Court are conducted in English only.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the the following posts in Supreme Court and the details are as following :

1. Senior Court Assistant ( Senior Translator )
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 -  34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
   Qualifications : Candidate should posses Masters degree and has done diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from any government recognized university OR Should have 3 years of experience in translation work of Hindi to English and vice versa Government sector and also the knowledge of computer operation is a must.
2. Court assistant ( Ex-Cadre ) ( Junior Translator )
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 -  34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
   Qualifications : Candidate should be graduate and should have done diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from any government recognized university OR Should have 2 years of experience in translation work of Hindi to English and vice versa Government sector and also the knowledge of computer operation is a must.

Age limit for both the posts : Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years

Last date : 16th August 2010
Application fees : DD / Postal Order of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Registrar , Supreme Court of India .
