The Staff Selection Commission has its Headquarter at New Delhi. The commission is headed by a Chairman who is assisted by two members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. The main function of SSC is to make recruitment in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt of India and Subordinate Offices and to conduct examinations and interviews required according to the posts.

Staff Selection Commission SSC will hold on 26.06.2010 and 27.06.2010 an examination for recruitment to the posts given below:

SAS Apprentices in CGDA Examination 2010
Post: Section Officer (Accounts)
Posts: 453 (UR-231,SC-67,ST-33,OBC-122)
Age limit: Candidates should be between 18-27 years as on 27.04.2010. Relaxation in age as per rules.
Qualification: Candidates should have a University degree in Honours or MA/M.Sc./M.com or Diploma of Charted Accountant and Cost & Works Accounts.

Last Date for submission of Application : 27th April 2010.
