SSC Vacancy Advt No.SSC/HQ/1/2010 March 2010
Subordinate Services Commission was constituted on 4th November 1975 and was re-designated as Staff Selection Commission ( SSC ) which became effective from the 26th September, 1977. It’s Head quarter is located in New Delhi. It’s main function is to make recruitment to various Class III (now Group “C”) (non-technical) posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and in Subordinate Offices.
SSC invites applications for the posts for various Offices under the Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India:

| NR-(B)-02 | Asst.Central Intelligence Officer(Wireless telegraphy) | 7 | max.30yrs | Bachelors degree in electronics/ Telecommunication engineering/ Computer sc. B.E/B.Tech in IT. |
| NR-(B)-03 | Asst.Central Intelligence Officer(GEQD) | 1 | max.30yrs | Masters degree in chemistry/ physics with 1 year of practical exp. of typewriting. |

| NR-(B)-05 | Stenographer Grade C | 19 | 18-27yrs | Should have passed matriculation exam of a university incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature or an examination held by the State Education Board. |
| NR-(B)-06 | Wireless Operator | 28 | 18-32yrs | B.Sc with physics /chemistry / mathematics. |
| NR-(B)-07 | Radio Technician | 13 | 18-32yrs | Graduate with communication or electronics. |
| NR-(B)-08 | Cipher Operator | 17 | 18-27yrs | Matriculation with English and Typing speed of 30 words/min. in English. |
| ER-(B)-01 | Sr.Scientific Assistant(Physics) | 2 | max.32yrs | Masters degree in biophysics/ Forensic sc. with physics at B.Sc level. |
| ER-(B)-02 | Sr.Scientific Assistant(Chemistry) | 1 | max.32yrs | Masters degree in Chemistry / Forensic sc. with chemistry at B.Sc level. |
| ER-(B)-03 | Sr.Scientific Assistant(Ballistics) | 1 | max.32yrs | Masters degree in physics/maths/ Forensic sc. with physics/maths at B.Sc level. |
Pay scale:
For Category no. NR-(B)-01, NR-(B)-02, & NR-(B)-03 is PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- with GP Rs. 4600/-
For rest of the categories is PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- with GP Rs. 4200/-
