SSC CISF Vacancy 2010


The Staff Selection Commission has its headquarter at New Delhi. The Commission is headed by Chairman who is assisted by two members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. All Examinations as well as administrative matters are submitted to the Chairman through two members. SSC functions is to make recruitment to all Group B posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices which are in the pay scales the maximum of which is Rs.10,500 or below and  all non-technical Group C posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices, except those posts which are specifically exempt from the purview of the Staff Selection Commission.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be holding an Open Competitive Examination on 29.08.2010 (Sunday) for filling up vacancies of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in the Central Industrial Security force :

Sub- Inspector (Executive)
Posts : 1000 ( Male- 900, Female 100)
Age limit: Candidates should be between 20-25 years as on 28.06.2010.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5200-20200/-
Qualification: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University or equivalent.

Fee: Candidates have to pay fee of Rs.100/-. It is exempted for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.
Closing Date: 28.06.2010
Closing Date: 05.07.2010 for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad.
Note: As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44 dated01.03.1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 08.04.1995, the Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU. Accordingly, unless such Degrees had been recognized for the period when the candidates acquired the relevant qualification,they will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.
