Spices Board Cochin Vacancy 2010
Spices Board was formed on 26th February 1986. It is one of the five Commodity Boards functioning under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It’s work is to promote export of the scheduled spices and production development of some spices. It is the main link between the Indian exporters and the importers abroad. It also helps exporters and importers to establish mutual contacts.
Applications are invited by spices Board for the following post:

| 3. | Scientist ‘B’ (Microbiology) | 2 | PB-3 Rs.15600- 39100/- + GP Rs.5400/- | PG Degree in Microbiology with 3 years research experience in the field of Quality control of Agricultural products. |
| 4. | Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry) | 3 | PB-3 Rs.15600- 39100/- + GP Rs.5400/- | PG / Doctorate degree in Chemistry with 3 years research experience in the field of Quality control of Agricultural products/ Spices. |

| 6. | Scientist ‘B’ (Plant pathology ) | 1 | PB-3 Rs.15600- 39100/-+ GP Rs.5400/- | PG / Doctorate Degree in Plant Pathology/ Microbiology /Plant Virology/Botany with Specialization in Mycology and Plant Pathology |
| 7. | Research Associate ( Microbiology) | 1 | Rs.11000/- + HRA / month | M.Sc / B.Sc in Biochemistry with 3 years of research experience in Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry |
| 8. | Research Associate ( Agronomy) | 1 | Rs.11000/-+HRA / month | M.Sc (Ag) Specialization in Agricultural Chemistry with 3 years experience in analytical work in chemistry laboratory. |
| 9. | Research Associate ( Entomology) | 1 | Rs.11000/-+HRA / month | M.Sc zoology and specialisation in Entomol;ogy with minimum of one year research experience in Entomology or Bio-control. |
Age limit: For post No. 1 & 2 is 40 years and for post no. 3 to 9 is 35 years.
