SPA School of Planning and Architecture Vacancy 2010


The School of Planning and Architecture had a modest beginning in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. The School was renamed as School of Planning and Architecture in 1959. It is an autonomous Institution of MHRD, Government of India. The School is a specialised University, only one of its kind, which exclusively provides training at various levels, in different aspects of human habitat and environment. The SPA Vijayawada was established in July 2008 to meet growing demands of Architects and Planners in the country.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following positions :

Professor (Architecture)
Posts: 1
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 50 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000.
Qualification: Candidates should be Ph.d. with at least 60% aggregate marks at Bachelors or Master Degree in Architecture.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
Associate Professor (Architecture)
Posts: 2
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 45 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100.
Qualification: Candidates should be Ph.d. with at least 60% aggregate marks at Bachelors or Master Degree in Architecture.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in the relevant field.
Assistant Professor (Lecturer)
Posts: 7
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs. 15600-39100.
