The South Indian Bank is one of the earliest bank in South India. This bank was established with the aim to fulfil the dreams of a group of enterprising men who joined together at Thrissur, a major town (now known as the Cultural Capital of Kerala), in the erstwhile State of Cochin to provide for the people a safe, efficient and service oriented repository of savings of the community on one hand and to free the business community from the clutches of greedy money lenders on the other by providing need based credit at reasonable rates of interest.

South Indian bank invites ONLINE applications from Indian nationals for the post of Probationary Clerks and the details are as following :

Probationary Clerks
no. if vacancies : 200 posts
Age limit : Candidate should have minimum age 20 years and maximum 26 years .
Remuneration : Time scale of Rs.7200/- – Rs.19300/-. plus DA, HRA, Conveyance allowance etc.For graduates, presently the approximate total starting emoluments per month is Rs.13,500/-.
Mode of selection : written test & interview
Qualification : Candidate should be graduate from any reputed University and completed a regular 10+2+3 course with minimum 50% mark in Science stream or 45 % marks in other streams and candidate should be perfect in Computer operations.

Last date for remitting the application fees at any branch of The South Indian Bank Ltd. : 2nd September 2010
Last date for receipt of application(system generated) with photo and other documents : 7th September 2010
Date of written test : 10th October 2010
Application fees : Challan of Rs. 250/-
