The Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited ( SJVNL ) was formed on 24th May 1988. It is a joint venture of Government of India and The Government of Himachal Pradesh. The SJVNL worked for the project known as The Nathpa Jhakri Hydro – Electric Power Station– NJHPS ( 1500 MW ). It always plans and executes new projects for the expansion of the corporation.

SJVNL invites applications for the following positions:

1. Sr. Manager (Electrical) –E6
Posts : 3
Qualification: Candidate should have a full time degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute of India.
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 5th April 2010.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 15 years of experience in the relevant field.
2. Manager/ Dy. Manager (Electrical)- E5/E4
Posts: 12
Qualification: Candidate should have a full time degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute of India.
Age limit:Candidates should not be more than 45/40 years as on 5th April 2010.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 12/09 years of experience in the relevant field.
3. Manager/ Dy. Manager (Mechanical)-E5/E4
Posts: 2
Qualification: Candidates should have a full time degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute of India.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 45/40 years as on 5th April 2010.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 12/09 years of experience in the relevant field.
4. Sr. Manager (Mechanical)- E6
Posts: 4
Qualification: Candidates should have a full time degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute of India.
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 5th April 2010.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 15 years of experience in the relevant field.
5. Asst. Company Secretary – E5/E4
Posts: 1
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in law or MBA and qualified Company Secretary with membership of the Institute of the Company Secretaries of India.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 45/40 years as on 5th April 2010.
Experience:Candidates should have minimum 12/09 years of experience in the relevant field.
