Rural Electrification Corporation Limited ( REC ) was setup on 25th July 1969 by the Government of India under the administrative control of Ministry of Power. Its main aim is to finance and promote rural electrification projects all over the country by providing financial assistance to State Electricity Boards, State Government Departments and Rural Electric Cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them. It take care of its clients in all respects. Its head office is located in New Delhi and 17 Project Offices are located in different states of the country, apart from one Training Institute viz. Central Institute for Rural Electrification at Hyderabad.

Applications are invited by REC for the following professionals in Engineering , Finance & Human Resource Disciplines and the details are :

1. Officer ( F & A )
   No. of posts : 4
   Emoluments : Rs. 24900 – 3% – 50500/- (provisional) + other allowances
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 32 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have scored at least 75% marks in 10th & 1th standard, minimum 60% in B.Com and Inter and final C.A. in first attempt.
2. Graduate Engineers – BE / B.Tech / Electrical
   No. of posts : 3
   Emoluments : Rs. 24900 – 3% – 50500/- (provisional) + other allowances
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 30 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have scored at least 75% marks in 10th & 1th standard, minimum 65% marks in BE / B.Tech
