Recruitment for Project Assistant in NPL 2010
National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi, is the no. 1 and very first national laboratory which was set up on 4 January 1947. It’s main aim is to maintain the standard of measurements. The most important research done by NPL is indelible ink which is being used in the Indian elections to prevent fraudulent voting.
NPL requires various Project Assistants at different levels. So, applications invited for the posts are as follows:
1. Project Assistant Level-IV – 1 post
Age : 35 years.
Pay Scale : Rs.16000/-
Qualification : Ph.D. (Physics/ Materials/Electronics)
Nano particles,use of SEM/AFM /Interferometry
2. Project Assistant Level-III – 2 post
Age : 32 years
Pay scale : Rs. 14000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc.(Physics) with 02years post M.Sc. research experience
knowledge of High vacuum techniques/microwave and computer.
3. Project Assistant Level-III – 1 post
Age : 30 years
Pay scale : Rs. 12000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc.(Physics) with 02years post M.Sc. research experience
1st Class B.Tech.(Electronics) with 02 years post B.Tech.research
experience.
4. Project Assistant Level-III – 2 post
Age : 32 years
Pay scale : Rs. 14000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Tech. (Electronics)
About Job : Nano-electronics Automation in measurements,programming
5.Project Assistant Level-III – 1 post
Age : 30 years.
Pay : 12000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Tech.(Material Science/Nanotechnology/Instrumentation)
Knowledge of handling equipments in ultra high vacuum
Job Description : To provide the support in setting up new facility of MBE and Surface
Analysis Technique and perform multilayer growth for LED applications
6. Project Assistant Level-III (DST-SRF): 2 posts
Age : 32 years
Pay : 14000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Tech. (Electronics)
7. . Project Assistant Level-III – 3 posts
Age : 32 years
Pay : 14000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc.. (Physics) with 02 years post M.Sc.research experience
8. Project Assistant Level-III – 1 post
Age : 30 years
Pay : 12000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. with 02 years post M.Sc. research experience in optics
with knowledge of Fizean interferometers and lasers optical polishing
9.Project Assistant Level-III – 1 post
Age : 32 years.
Pay : 14000/-
Qualification ; 1st Class B.Tech. (Information Tech./Electronics) with 02 years post
B.Tech. experience
Job Description : To work on PT project for compiling data, making reports/results.
10. Project Assistant Level-III – 1 post
Age : 30 years
Pay : 12000/-
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc.(Physics) with specialization in solid state physics
NET/GATE qualified for exposure in the field of conducting polymers.
About Job : Organic/conjugated polymers thin film deposition and characterization
for organic electronic device applications.
11. Project Assistant Level-III – 2 post
Age : 32 years
Pay : 14000/-
Qualification : 1st Class B.Tech.(Electronics/ Electronics &Communication Engg./
Electronics & Instrumentation with 02 years post B.Tech. experience.
About Job : Design, development and testing of medical electronic instruments and
firmware.
