Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan was formed on 15th October 1970 by the Government of India for the development and promotion of Sanskrit all over the country. Its main aim is to propagate, develop and encourage Sanskrit learning and research. It also work as central, administrative and coordinating machinery for the management of all Campuses.

Applications are invited by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan from Indian Nationals for the following posts :

1. Associate Professor ( Vyakaran )
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : PB 4 Rs.37,400-67000/- + AGP of Rs.9000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Sanskrit or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks .
   Experience : At least 8 years of experience of teaching and /or of research in a regular position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/College or Accredited Research Institution with evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 publications as books and /or research/policy papers in indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books.
2. Deputy Registrar ( Administration )
   no. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- + GP of Rs. 7600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should  have scored minimum 55% marks in Masters degree or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
   Experience : At least 5 years of experience as a Lecturer in a college or a University with experience in educational administration and experience in Educational Administration/ Finance/ Examination/Computer Application/Planning is desirable.
3. Senior stenographer
   No. of posts : 6
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- + GP of Rs. 4200/-
   Age limit : Not more than 35 years
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of Graduation or Shastri .
4. Junior Stenographer
   no. of posts : 3
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- + GP of Rs.  2400/-
   Age limit : Not more than 27 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have the knowledge of Sanskrit with Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m., translation 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi).
