Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Jobs 2011
Punjab State Warehousing Corporation ( PSWC ) was established 1958 for the purpose of warehousing of agricultural produce and other notified commodities under the Agricultural Produce Corporations Act 1956. It is the biggest State Warehousing Corporation of India with a storage capacity of 57.35 lakh MTs, & a network of 117 warehouses, 251 Procurement Centres, and 5 Container Freight Stations (CFSs) / Inland Container Depots (ICDs) .
PSWC invites applications for the following posts :
-
District manager
No. of posts : 7
Pay scale : Rs. 10300 – 34800/- with GP Rs. 5000/-
Qualification : Candidate should be a MBA with 1st division OR should posses the degree of M.Sc ( Agriculture ) and should have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the subject. -
Warehouse Manager
No. of posts : 42
Pay scale : Rs. 10300 – 34800/- with GP Rs. 4200/-
Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of M.Sc ( Agriculture ) with 1st division and should have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the subject. -
Technical Assistant
No. of posts : 118
Pay scale : Rs. 10300 – 34800/- with GP Rs. 3800/-
Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in Agriculture / Chemistry / Bio chemistry / Botany / Zoology and should have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the subject. -
Godown Assistant
No. of posts : 80
Pay scale : Rs. 10300 – 34800/- with GP Rs. 3800/-
Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in any stream and should have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the subject.
Age limit for all the posts : Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years of age.
Last date to apply ONLINE : 3rd January 2011

also
now i am going to m.b.a , my m.b.a will be completed in may 2011,my agreegate % in 1st year is 75%…….can i apply for the post of district manager?

No , BCA and other qualification candidate are not allowed . Only B.Sc agriculture with experince are preferred .
For the Post B.Sc Agriculture and M.Sc Agriclture are required and we prefer them. Please dont waste your money if you are not Agriculture passed.

As i was not well a few days back so i was not able to fill the form for the post of District Manager, as i was eagerly waiting for this kind of JOB Profile , I am an MBA with 68% and an Engg with 71% , kindly please allow the date to be extended so that i can apply for this. Its my Request.

i applied for all the 4 posts of PSWC. But in one then i missedto fill correspondance adress due to which my exams for the post of TA and WM are on same date i.e 30/1/11. but the cetre of exams are different i.r 10-12 am for WM at Chandigarh and 2-4 pm for the post of TA at Bathinda on the same date. pls allot me the one centre either chandigarh or bathinda on the 30/1/11.otherwise it will be difficult for me to attend the both exams. its a kind request to u.
hope u will understand my Problem. I shall be thankfull to you.
