Punjab Police Recruitment for Male Constables 2010

D.G.P. headquartered at Chandigarh along with his secretarial staff including administration, intelligence, security, crime & Forensic Science Laboratory, provisioning and computer wireless & communication. Punjab has 24 police districts headed by SSP.
Punjab Police invites applications for the post of male constables in Punjab District Police SAS Nagar and the details are as following :
Male Constables
No. of vacancies : 359 posts
Placements : In Punjab District Police in SAS Nagar , District of Punjab.
Pay scale : Pay Band – 2 Rs. 5920 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years
Height : Candidates height should not be less than 5’7”
Qualification : Candidate should have passed 12th or equivalent in any stream and passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the subject.
Last date for the receipt of application form is 10th August 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Chairman, District Recruitment Board—–( SAS Nagar )
Note : Interested candidate should send duly completed application form in a prescribed format to Chairman , District Recruitment Board, SSP Office, SAS Nagar

Sir i hav compt. My 12th com. With 75% form gujarat board ,and i my liveing in gujarat so i want to know that i can join punjab police or not ..

Dear Sir,
AOA i want to join Punjab Police Force, last time i apply but not join it because my name is not entered in the final list.
I achiever all the proses of this force e.g measurement. running,written test, all of thing achieve but my bad luck/unresponsibality of the department.
Please do at work my problem

sir, I am a 21 Yrs old boy, now i am serving in indian army with effect from 05 Sep 2008. My hight is 182cms and i wants to know, can i join punjab police, if yes, what are the requirements for me to join the punjab police.
