Punjab Land Records Society ( PLRS ) was setup by the Government of Punjab. Its main aim is to oversee, monitor the implementation of computerization and digitization of Land Records and related documents in Punjab for the overall benefit of the citizens and to provide Land Records related services through multiple common access infrastructures like Sukhmani Centres to the public. Its head office is located in Jalandhar , Punjab. It also undertakes the necessary administrative reforms required to accomplish the objectives of good governance through IT or otherwise.

PLRS invites applications for the various posts and the details are as following :

1. GIS Professionals
   No. of posts : 4
   Pay scale : Minimum Rs. 10000/- per month
   Qualification : Candidate should be Graduate in any stream with minimum 60% marks and should have working knowledge of Arc GIS software.
   Experience : At least 2 years of experience in any GIS Projects.
2. Total station & GPS Operators / Instructors
   No. of posts : 6
   Pay scale : Rs. 10000/- fixed
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Diploma In civil/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks and should have full working knowledge of total station.
3. Accountant – cum-Typists
   No. of posts : 1
   pay scale : Rs. 8000/- per month
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in Commerce ( B.Com ) from any reputed institution or retired person from Central/ State/Defence Services/PS undertakings or a person from open market should have knowledge of accounts in computerization system with the Knowledge of account package.
   Experience : 2 years of experience of accounts.
4. Office Executive – cum – Record Keeper
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 8000/- per month
   Qualification : Candidate should posses in office management or B.A/B.Sc /BCA or retired official from Central/ State Govt. /Defence Services/PS Undertaking or a person from open market and candidates with Office Executive-cum-Record keeping package will be preferred .
