OPTCL Orissa Power Transmission Corporation Limited Recruitment 2010
Orissa Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) was formed in March 2004 under the companies Act, 1956. It is one of the largest Transmission Utility in the country, wholly owned by the Government of Orissa. It’s main objective is to ensure development of an efficient and economical system of intra state and inter state transmission lines for smooth flow of electricity from generating stations to the load centres.
OPTCL, invites applications for the following positions :
Management Trainee (Electrical)
Posts: 150 (UR-52, SC-24, ST-34, SEBC-40)
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 32 years as on 1.04.2010.
Stipend: Candidates will have a training period of 1 year and they will get a stipend of Rs.12000/- p.m. After completion of successful training period candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager on probation period of one year in the scale of pay Rs.9300-34800/-.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institution or passing of Section A & B of IE (India) with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have pass in Oriya Language Test equivalent to M.E. standard. Alternatively the candidate has to pass the requisite language test in Oriya within one year of appointment.
Management Trainee (Finance)
Posts: 11 ( UR-4, SC-2, ST-2, SEBC-3)
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 32 years as on 1.04.2010.
Stipend: Candidates will have a training period of 1 year and they will get a stipend of Rs.12000/- p.m. After completion of successful training period candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager on probation period of one year in the scale of pay Rs.9300-34800/-.
Qualification: Candidates should have passed the final examination of Institute of Charted Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Candidates should have pass in Oriya Language Test equivalent to M.E. standard. Alternatively the candidate has to pass the requisite language test in Oriya within one year of appointment.
Last Date: 16.06.2010
Note: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for SEBC candidates.
