The Oil India Limited (OIL) was incorporated on 18th February 1959. It is an important public sector undertaking involved in exploration production and transportation of crude oil , natural gas and manufacture of LPG . Its headquarter is situated at Duliajan , Dibrugarh District , Assam. It is one of the five best major PSUs and one of three best energy sector PSUs in the country. It is recognised as a fastest growing energy company with a global presence providing value to the shareholders.

OIL invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts and the details are :

• Drilling Engineer ( D –01 / 10 )
  Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 37 years of age.
  Salary : Candidates will get the salary of Rs. 8000/- per month ( Consolidated )
  Post qualification experience : At least 9 years.
• Drilling Engineer ( D –02 / 10 )
  Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 33 years of age.
  Salary : Candidates will get the salary of Rs. 7000/- per month ( Consolidated )
  Post qualification experience : At least 5 years.
• Drilling Engineer ( D –03 / 10 )
  Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 29 years of age.
  Salary : Candidates will get the salary of Rs. 6000/- per month ( Consolidated )
  Post qualification experience : At least 2 years.

Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of BE / B.Tech in Engineering or PG Diploma in Petroleum Exploration / Technology and should be able to operate AC / SCR , Diesel Mechanical Drilling rigs and work over rigs. Preference will be given to those having Well Control Certificate ( IWCF ) .
