The various agricultural seeds includes cereals, pulses, oilseed, fiber, fodder & vegetable crops. NSC has its head office in New Delhi. It also has 11 Regional offices & 80 area offices. It provides the seeds according to the need. It is responsible for distributing high quality seeds all over the country.

NSC Invites application for the following posts for Head Office, New Delhi & Regional Offices :

1. Manager (Production) : 01 post
   Educational Qualification : should have Master’s degree in Botany or Agriculture from a recognized university with specialization in plant breeding / Agricultural Botany / Genetics / Seed Technology / Horticulture / Entomology / Plant Physiology / Agricultural Economics.
   Experience : Should have at least 6 years of experience in work relating to marketing, quality control of seeds, production or other agricultural inputs.
   Age : Should not be more than 40 yrs. as on 1st January 2010
   Pay scale : Rs. 20600 /- To 46500/-
2. Manager (Accounts) : 01 post
   Educational Qualification : The candidate should have at least Degree in Commerce or CA or ICWA or MBA (Finance) from a recognized university.
   Experience : At least 6 years in responsible position in Central/ state / PSU / Semi government/ Commercial establishments.
   Age : Should not be more than 40 yrs. as on 1st January 2010
   Pay Scale : Rs. 20600 /- To 46500/-
3. Assistant Manager (Production) : 02 posts
   Educational Qualification : Should have Master’s degree in Botany or Agriculture with at least 2nd Division.
   Experience : should have at least 3 years experience in responsible capacity in work relating to production, marketing, quality control of seeds or any other agricultural inputs or farm management.
   Age : The candidate should not be more than 35 years as on 1st Jan 2010
   Pay scale : Rs. 16400/- To 40500/-
4. Assistant Seed Officer : 19 posts
   Educational Qualifications : The candidate must have B.Sc. degree in Agriculture in 1st class & 1 year experience in Farm Management, seed production or Plant Breeding Research OR, have M.Sc. degree in Agriculture.
   Age : Not more than 30 years as on 1st Jan 2010
   Pay scale : Rs. 10900/- To 31500/-
5. Junior Assistant : 04 posts
   Educational Qualification : Should have at least B.Com degree with at least 55% aggregate marks.
   Age : should not be more than 25 years as on 1st Jan 2010
   Pay scale : rs. 8200/- To 22200/-
6. Seed Officer : 01 post
   Educational Qualification : Should have at least Master degree in Botany or Agriculture in at least 2nd Division.
   Experience : At least 3 years experience in work relating to marketing, quality control of seeds, production or other agricultural inputs.
   Age : should not be more than 35 years as on 1st Jan 2010
   Pay scale : Rs. 12600/- To 32500/-
7. Laboratory Assistant : 06 posts
   Educational Qualification : Should have passed at least 12th Std exam in Science stream.
   Age : Should not be more than 30 years as on 1st Jan 2010
