National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) organised Workshops in 23 states. The mandate of the authority is to evolve common guidelines for all schemes of different Ministries including Externally aided project (EAPs) for development of Rainfed/ Dry land Farming Systems, to monitor disbursement of rural credit/insurance cover/ safety net programmes developed for rainfed areas.

Applications are invited for the following positions :

Consultant
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 65 years.
Fee: Candidates will get consolidated fee of Rs.35000/- p.m.
Qualification: Candidates should having Masters Degree in relevant subjects. Persons with addl. qualifications, research exp., published papers and post qualification exp. in the relevant field would be preferred. OR  Retired Govt. employees with (i) Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 and above & (ii) at least 5 yrs experience of working in Govt Deptt. or PSU in the desired domain field would also be eligible.
Chief Consultant
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 65 years.
Fee: Candidates will get consolidated fee of Rs.45000/- p.m.
Qualification: Candidates should having a Ph.D Degree in relevant subject and at least post qualification experience of 10 years in the requisite field. OR Retired Govt. employees with (i) grade pay of Rs. 7600/- and above & (ii) at least 10 years experience in the required domain field would also be eligible for this position.
Principal Consultant
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 65 years.
Fee: Candidates will get consolidated fee of Rs.55000/- p.m.
Qualification: Candidates Professionals having a Ph.D degree in the relevant subject and minimum post qualification experience of 25 years in the requisite field. They should have high competency and established peer reputation. OR  Retired Govt. employees with (i) grade pay of Rs. 8700/- and above & (ii) at least 25 yrs experience in the required domain would also be eligible for this position.

Note: The Consultants shall be on contract basis for 2 years and may be extended as per requirements.
