NPL Vacancy 2010
The National Physical Laboratory ( NPL ) was formed in 1947. It is the oldest laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. It is the premier research laboratory in India in the field of physical sciences. It mainly deals in Research and development , Consultancy, Sponsored and Contract Research, Calibration and Testing. The main aim of the laboratory is to strengthen and advance physics-based research and development for the overall development of science and technology in the country.
NPL invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts:

| 1.0 | Asst.Executive Engineer Civil Gr.III(4) | 1 | Should be B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with 06 years experience. |
| 2.0 | Technical Staff Gr.III(1) | 4 | B.Sc with 1st class in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics |
| 3.0 | Technical Staff Gr.III(1) | 3 | Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of 3 years fulltime duration in the relevant area. |
| 4.0 | Technical Staff Gr.III(1) | 1 | Diploma in Electrical Engineering of 3 yrs. fulltime duration or its equivalent in the relevant area. |
| 5.0 | Technical Staff Gr.III(1) | 7 | 1st Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Instrumentation of 3 years fulltime duration. |
| 6.0 | Hindi Officer | 1 | Master’s Degree of a recognized university or equivalent in Hindi with English as subject at the degree level. |
| 7.0 | Security Assistant | 1 | Jr. Commissioned Officer in Army or other Paramilitary Forces with 05 years experience in organizing and supervising security arrangements. |
Age limit:
For post no. 1 & 6 is 35 years.
For post no.2,3,4,5 & 7 is 28 years.
Pay scale:
For post no. 1 & 6 is PB3 Rs.15600-39100/- with GP of Rs.5400/-
For post no.2, 4, 5, & 7 is PB2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs.4200/-
Last date : 30th April 2010
Application fees: Interested candidate has to pay DD of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Director, National Physical Laboratory payable at New Delhi.
